Dear TVCS Family, At the end of this school year we will be saying goodbye to our loyal friend Mr. Anthony Richard as he moves forward and brings his time as Lead Administrator of the Village to a close. Mr. Richard had advised the board of this earlier in the year, and he has been helping prepare the school and facilitate the process of selecting his successor. If there’s one thing we know to be true about Mr. Richard, it’s that his care for the school, its students, teachers and staff is pervasive.
During his 7 years of leadership, Mr. Richard led the school during some turbulent times, including managing two locations, the eventual move into our permanent location, and now even the current challenges with COVID-19. During his tenure he’s faced some nearly insurmountable challenges, but proved that persistence, humility, flexibility, teambuilding and collaborative problem solving will win the day.
Mr. Richard has always dreamed big for the school, and has been successful, along with staff, to more fully embed the 7 Habits culture. This year, Mr. Richard holds the honor of graduating our first class of students who have attended the school since its inception, Kindergarten through 8th grade. These students have benefited under his guidance, as have hundreds of others. Under his leadership our students have enjoyed a safe, caring environment along with a culture of kindness and personal responsibility. We are indebted to him for ensuring the cultural foundation of the school for his new successor to build upon with solid footing.
To all who are involved with our Village, we are excited about our future and look forward to introducing you soon to our new Lead Administrator. At the same time, we would like to recognize that the positive impact Mr. Richard has made here will not be forgotten.
Mr. Richard, on behalf of the Board of Trustees and our entire community, thank you for your stewardship. You have left an indelible mark on this school and we hope you find the greatest success in whatever you choose to do in the future!
Our Warmest Regards,
TVCS Board of Trustees
